September 2020 Covid 19 update

All's well here in isolation, sold sidecar 2 years ago as I was not travelling well on long distances on it, no bikes at all, just living in retirement hoping old friends will still drop in on trips for a coffee and chat.

Long awaited update.

Have not been updateing this lately, been a complete slackass like I am but here goes.

Due to life evolving I no longer have a road going motorcycle. ie: I am bike less.
Going through some books to clean out came across some notes I started to do when I took up climbing, did not last long, so am putting them up here for interested people to read.

Please excuse spelling mistakes, will try & get round to editing climbs
spelling when I find the books

September update

Bikes all ready to go to Wynbring on labour day weekend, expecting Beet & Bear here on Thursday, leaving Friday am for Kingoonya.
You can now find me on Face book, look for Peter Jenkins in Gladstone SA.
Acquired another Hyundai Excel 1996 model for parts, have used the following off it so far; tow bar, sun visor, interior light, seat ( put the girly type ones on the shelf), and repaired my dash control panel as well.
Will be given  2 1000 gal rain water tanks in October, will need to get them connected to the shed & house.
Al for now, cut your tracks down the road.

20 August update

Ray Goss says my blog needs watering, so here is a bit of an update.
All visitors have left for the OCR at Cape York, the pudding has been picked up & taken to the border run & onto the OCR by Dirty Dennis.
Watched the pudding & Mr Cob's progress on the net via there Spot Trackers, something new for me.
Missed the border run myself, run out of money again after 2 trips to Bendigo this year & the modifications to my final drive & tail shaft took all my spare cash this year.
Joe & Ed visited on the border weekend, flew in from Canberra via Joe's plane, stayed 2 nights then they flew home via Tibbaburra, the dig tree & Hungerford.

Next run will be to Wynbring water hole on the labour weekend then rest over the hot months till April or June next year. Thats all for now, cut Ya tracks later.
